FB&T Announces Fourth Year of the Frandsen Scholarship Program

Are you planning to pursue post-secondary education? As we are all aware, trade schools, community colleges, and four-year institutions can be expensive. At Frandsen Bank & Trust, we understand the importance of education, and we are proud to announce the fourth year of the Frandsen Scholarship program, which is now named the Orlo A. Balcer Memorial Scholarship. High school students all across the Frandsen Bank footprint will be eligible to earn one of 25 - $1,000 scholarships we are awarding.

Who is eligible?
Applications are open to high school seniors who satisfy the following fields:

High school senior in Minnesota, North Dakota, or Wisconsin.
On track to graduate in the spring of 24’.
Must attend a post-secondary institution in the fall of 24’ – proof of admittance.
The student or parent/guardian is a customer of FB&T.

How to apply:
Applicants will apply by writing a short essay answering the following question: “how do you contribute to your local community?” (200 words or less)
The application will be available December 1^st, 2023, through February 29^th, 2024. Winners will be announced in early April. The scholarship will be forfeited if the student fails to attend school in the fall of 24’.

The scholarship payment will be made directly to the winner’s school.
- Payment will be made after the winner has submitted all required information to Frandsen Bank & Trust no later than August 1^st, 2024. Information includes college acceptance letter, student ID#, and remittance address.
