Michael Kjelshus Joins Grand Forks as Vice President, Business Banker

Frandsen Bank & Trust is pleased to welcome Michael Kjelshus as vice president, business banker at its Grand Forks location. With 19 years of industry experience and a background in commercial and multi-family real estate, Kjelshus will help strengthen Frandsen Bank’s presence in Grand Forks and the surrounding community.

“Michael is knowledgeable, motivated, and relationship-driven,” says John Votava, Grand Forks bank president. “He’s passionate about our Grand Forks community, and I’m confident he’ll be a valuable resource for our customers.”

A U.S. Navy veteran, Kjelshus leverages his military-honed discipline, leadership, and attention to detail to deliver tailored financial solutions and exceptional customer service. He specializes in financial analysis, business lending, cash management, and deposit services.

A Grand Forks resident since 2000, Kjelshus is an active community member, serving on the Board of Directors for the Grand Forks Optimist International Club. In his free time, Kjelshus enjoys playing golf, spending time with his family, and attending University of North Dakota hockey games.
