1.5 Million Donated to Local High School Students!

The Frandsen Foundation and Frandsen Bank & Trust are proud to announce that 212 scholarships were awarded to students in the spring of 2024. Dennis Frandsen and Frandsen Bank & Trust have dedicated approximately $1.5 million to higher education for students in 10 communities.

Earlier this year, the Frandsen Foundation announced an expansion to its scholarship program to impact more students within Frandsen Bank & Trusts communities.

In previous years, the Frandsen Foundation paid for a two-year education for high school students in Braham, Rush City, Pine City, Fredric (WI), and Luck (WI).

The new communities included in the 2024 scholarship program are Waterville, Clinton, Ada, Warren/Oslo, and Ely.

Frandsen Bank & Trust Vice Chairmen Rich Hoban stated, “Frandsen Bank & Trust is extremely proud to partner with Dennis Frandsen and the Frandsen Foundation to provide these two-year scholarships in our communities. We believe these scholarships will dramatically impact the recipients and the communities in which we do business.”

Eligible students receive not only two years of their college education paid for but also a $1,000 stipend for fees, books, and supplies. Scholarship recipients are required to attend a technical readiness program at an approved Minnesota state two-year college, ensuring they are well-prepared for their academic journey.

Thanks to Dennis Frandsen’s leadership and dedication to improving local communities, students who may not have had the chance to attend secondary education now have their tuition fully covered.
